Vegetarians and Vegans, Hypocrites?

Why do some vegetarians and vegans,

who don’t believe in eating meat,

eat fake hamburgers or fake hot dogs?

Isn’t that being hypocritical?

In my world

silver and gold and copper and brass,

diamonds and rubies and pearls

all match.
