Bananas for bananas

My granddaughter loves bananas. I buy them,

but they keep getting black before we eat them.

Then I throw them away and have no bananas

when my granddaughter comes over.

I have found

that if I slice the bananas

and freeze them spread out on waxed paper on a plate

that they taste like little bites of ice cream.

Then I have bananas available for when my granddaughter wants them.
